Renovation & Remodeling Marketing for Projects With a Budget and a Start Date

Half your estimates go to people who only wanted a ballpark. The homeowner from the home-project site has already heard from three other contractors. And the good ones take months to decide, then sign with whoever kept in touch.

Remodeling marketing should fix that. We run your Google listing, your Google ads, a website with a page for every kind of project you build, and the follow-up that keeps your name in front of a homeowner until they sign. Every call is yours alone, and each month you see which ones turned into signed projects.

  • 5 ★ on Trustindex (5.0 from 49 reviews)

  • Month to month
  • You own everything
  • Your licences and certifications on every page we build

Six things remodelers tell us on the first call

  • “Half my estimates are people who just want a ballpark.”

Every one of those costs you an evening. Pages with real price ranges, and a quote form that asks for the room, the budget and the start date, mean you drive out to people who are ready.

  • “The directory renewed before I could cancel.”

Then you keep paying for requests other contractors also got. We work month to month, and the website, listing and ad account are in your name.

  • “They take months to decide.”

A kitchen isn't an impulse buy. The contractor who stays in touch, politely, for those months is usually the one who signs it.

  • “Homeowners have heard the horror stories.”

They're scared of the contractor who takes the deposit and disappears. Finished-project photos, real reviews, your licences and insurance, and a clear process on every page make you the safe choice.

  • “I want basements and kitchens, not handyman calls.”

Ads and pages split by project type send your money toward the work you want, and away from the small jobs that tie up a crew.

  • “I have no idea what my marketing actually brought in.”

Every ad gets its own phone number, so you see which one made the phone ring. Your report counts signed projects, not clicks.

Why is remodeling marketing so hard to get right?

A renovation is the opposite of an emergency. Homeowners collect ideas for months, get several quotes, check reviews on more than one site, and talk it over at the kitchen table before anyone signs. The bigger the job, the longer they look, and the more they worry about picking the wrong contractor.

On the same search you're up against:

  • the one-person handyman who'll quote anything, including your kitchen
  • design-build firms with showrooms and a designer on staff
  • big-box stores selling installed kitchens and baths
  • the contractor who underbids and makes it back on change orders
  • directories and home-project sites that sell the same homeowner's request to several contractorsIn 2023 the US Federal Trade Commission ordered HomeAdvisor to pay up to $7.2 million over misleading claims about the job requests it sold contractors.

You don't win by being cheapest.

You win by looking like the safe choice, showing your work and your prices, and following up longer than anyone else.

Five jobs remodeling marketing has to do

Five jobs, in the order a homeowner meets you, all in your name.

  1. Be the renovator people find when they start planning

We fill your Google listing with finished projects, room by room, and every town you work in. We build a page for each kind of project in each town you want work from. Your Google ads are split by project type, so kitchens, basements and bathrooms each get their own budget, and searches like "DIY", "cabinet hardware" and "contractor jobs" are blocked so you stop paying for them. Where Google's Local Services Ads (the pay-per-call ads at the very top of the page, with the "Google Verified" check mark) make sense for you, we set those up too.

What's involved: Remodeling marketing agency, Google Maps and local SEO, Google Ads management

Proofwe ran the Google ads for Kitchen Tune-Up in Bloomfield, New Jersey, for just over three years. What they brought in is in the results below.

  2. A website that sells the project before you drive out

A page for each kind of project you build, with real photos, a typical price range, how long it takes and what's included. Before-and-after galleries. If you charge a design fee, a page that explains what the homeowner gets for it. A quote form that asks for the room, the scope, a budget range, the start date and a few photos, so you know what you're walking into. Your licences, insurance and warranties on every page.

    What's involved: Website design

Proof, from an HVAC client (a different trade, the same homeowners searching Google)after we rebuilt the website of Lloyd HVAC Services in East York, Toronto, with a page for each service, inquiries from Google search went from about 8 a month to 45 within six months (dates to come).

  3. Answer every call, even from a job site

You're running a site, not sitting by the phone. Our AI receptionist answers in your company name, asks what kind of project it is, the rough budget and when they want to start, and books the consultation or a callback. Missed calls get a text back right away. Quotes that haven't been signed get a polite check-in.

What's involved: AI receptionist, Missed-call text-back, One place for every call, text and form

Proof, from an HVAC clientAW Mechanical Systems in Brampton went from answering about 65% of its calls to 96% (dates to come).

  4. Stay in touch until they sign, then get the review

A homeowner who asked for a quote in March may sign in June. Texts and emails at a sensible pace keep you in front of them: a project like theirs, an answer to a question they had, an opening in your schedule. When the job's done, a text asks for a Google review with a one-tap link. Past clients hear from you before their next project, because the people who did their kitchen with you often call you for the basement. Every message names your company and has an easy way to opt out.

What's involved: Email and text follow-up, Review requests

  5. See which ads brought in signed projects

Every ad, listing and page has its own phone number, and each project type is counted on its own line. Once a month you get one plain report: calls, quote requests, consultations booked, projects signed (from what you tell us), what each signed project cost, and what we'll change next month.

What's involved: One place for every call, text and form, a phone number for every ad, a plain monthly report

Proof, from a fence and deck client (another project trade, the same homeowners)Elie's Fencing Solutions in Ottawa got 477 calls from its Google ads between March and September 2026, up from 203 the season before, on a budget only 18% bigger.

Results depend on your market, your budget and how fast you answer the phone.

Fewer ballpark callers, more real budgets

A couple fills in your quote form after the kids are in bed.

  1. They've read the page first. It showed finished basements like theirs and what they usually cost, so they arrive with a number in mind.
  2. The form asks what you'd ask at the door: which room, what they want done, a budget range, when they'd like to start, and a few photos.
  3. A text goes back within a minute, in your company name, saying you got it and when you'll call.
  4. The next morning you see the request, the budget and the photos in one place, and decide whether it's worth an evening walkthrough before you pick up the phone.

The ballpark shoppers still find you. They just stop eating your evenings.

How a website that books jobs works

Remodeling leads that are yours alone

Directories and home-project sites sell the same homeowner's request to several contractors at once, often on a contract that renews whether the requests turn into work or not. You call back in ten minutes and you're the third voice they've heard.

The calls and quote requests we bring in come from your own website, your own Google listing and your own ad account. Nobody else gets them, we never resell them, and if you leave, the listing, the website, the reviews and the phone numbers stay yours. How that works, and how the cost compares with buying requests, is on our page on remodeling leads. For every trade: exclusive contractor leads.

What we won't do

  • Sell or share your calls. Not with the contractor across town, not with anyone.
  • Lock you in.Month to month, always. No auto-renewing annual contract.
  • Keep your stuff in our name.Your website, Google listing, ad account and phone numbers are yours from day one.
  • Mark up your ad spend. It goes straight to Google or Meta from your own account.
  • Send you a report full of clicks. It opens with calls, quote requests and signed projects.
  • Promise prices or timelines you can't keep. You set the ranges; we write the pages around them.

Is your renovation company a good fit?

We're not the cheapest option, and we're not for every contractor.

A good fit if you:

  • carry the licences and insurance your work needs, and are happy to show them
  • pick up the phone, or have someone who does, and call people back the same day
  • want bigger, better-fitting projects, not just more estimates
  • will tell us which quotes turned into signed projects, at least for the first three months
  • can give it at least three months before you judge it

Probably not a fit if you:

  • can't answer the phone or call back the same day
  • want results without being involved for the first three months
  • are shopping for the cheapest invoice, or for homeowner names to buy by the dozen
  • can't invest for at least three months
  • want ads promising prices or finish dates your crews can't back up

Not sure which side you're on?

Ask us. We'll tell you straight.

Your first 90 days

  1. The first two weeks

    Set-up, in your name.

We fix up your Google listing, open or take over your ad account in your name, give every ad and page its own phone number, and put every call, text and form in one place. The AI receptionist learns your services, towns and hours, and missed-call text-back goes on.

  2. Weeks three and four

Ads for the projects you want.

We start with one or two project types, the first project pages and the new quote form go up, and you can see which ad or search each call came from.

  3. Months two and three

    Cut what doesn't sign.

We drop the searches that bring ballpark shoppers, add pages for more project types and towns, and start the follow-up for every open quote. By the end of month three you know what a signed project costs you, and which ads and searches bring them in.

Three rules we don't break

  1. No markup on your ad spend, and every ad gets its own phone number so you see what it brings in.
  2. You own everything, month to month.
  3. Results counted in signed projects, not clicks.

Remodeling marketing questions

Something else on your mind? Call (647) 254-0850 and ask.

There's no single right number. The one we'd watch is what each signed project costs you, and whether it's coming down. With us you pay $1,500 to $5,000 a month plus your ad spend, and the monthly report shows what each signed project cost, so you can judge it yourself.

Give the big projects their own pages and their own ads, and stop paying for the searches that bring small jobs. Show finished work of the size you want, with a price range, and ask for a budget on the quote form. The callers sort themselves.

Ranges, yes. Homeowners look for a ballpark before they call anyone, and a range keeps the people who'd never spend that much from booking your evenings. You set the numbers; we write the page.

Never. They come from your own website, your own Google listing and your own ad account, and we don't sell them to anyone.

There's no long contract. We work month to month. Your website, Google listing, ad account, phone numbers and customer list are in your name from day one, and if you leave, they go with you.

It is if the agency counts what you count: calls, quote requests and signed projects. It isn't if you get a report full of clicks and a contract that renews on its own. Before you pick a remodeling marketing agency, us included, ask who owns the accounts and what happens when you leave.

Ads can bring calls within the first month. Google Maps and search take months rather than weeks, but they keep paying off the longer they run. Renovations also take a while to sign, so judge the first quarter on quote requests and consultations, and the next one on signed projects.
