Three years of kitchen calls from its own ads.

Kitchen Tune-Up in Bloomfield, New Jersey, sells kitchen remodels and cabinet refacing. We ran its Google ads for just over three years, and every call and quote request reached the company directly. This Kitchen Tune-Up case study shows the total, where it comes from, and why we don't show a before-and-after.

Results at a glance

  • 473

phone calls from Google ads, January 2022 to March 2025. Of those, 192 lasted 30 seconds or longer.

  • 317

quote requests from the website over the same years.

These are calls and quote requests, not signed projects. The account holds no job data, so we don't claim kitchens we can't count.

Results depend on your market, your budget and how fast you answer the phone.

The challenge

A kitchen is one of the biggest checks a homeowner writes. Nobody books one on impulse. They look for months, collect ideas, and talk to two or three companies before they let anyone measure.

That makes the work slow to win, and it makes it easy to lose track of where it came from. A homeowner might see an ad in the spring and call in the fall. For a franchise, there's one more layer: the brand is national, but the calls have to come from homeowners in your own territory, to your own phone.

What we did

Get found: Google ads for Bloomfield homeowners

We ran Kitchen Tune-Up Bloomfield's Google ads for just over three years. The ads gave a homeowner two ways in: call the company, or ask for a quote on the page the ad opens. Over those years the quote page went through several versions, and every version kept a quote form.

Two ways in matters for a kitchen. Some people want to talk now. Many would rather send a few details first and get a call back when it suits them.

Know what works: counting what's real

The ad account's own total was a lot higher than the numbers on this page. It also counted taps on the phone number that never became calls, and plain page views. We took both out. What's left is real calls from Google's call log and real quote requests from the forms.

If you run a renovation or kitchen company, the full picture is on remodeling marketing. For calls that are yours alone instead of bought, read Remodeling Leads, and for what to expect from an agency, Remodeling Marketing Agency. The ads side for any business is on Google Ads management.

Why there's no before-and-after

Most case studies show a line going up. This one doesn't, on purpose. The last year of the account brought in fewer calls than the year before it, so a year-against-year chart would tell you nothing useful, and picking a flattering window would be worse.

So we show you the whole run instead. Every call and every quote request over just over three years, all from the company's own ads, to its own phone and its own website. None of them were shared with another contractor or bought from a site that sells names.

What Kitchen Tune-Up did well

  • They stuck with it.

Kitchens take months to decide on. More than three years of ads gave the slow buyers time to come back.

  • They gave people two ways in.

Phone for the ones ready to talk, a quote form for the ones still planning.

  • They brought a name people know.

The franchise brand helps a homeowner trust the ad. That's theirs, not ours.

How we count

Every number on this page has a source and a date. We count real calls from Google's own call log, not taps on a phone number, and real quote requests, not page views. We never put a client's name on a number that isn't theirs.
