Marketing That Makes the Phone Ring

We set up and run the things that bring you customers: your website, your Google listing, your ads, and someone to answer every call. The calls are yours alone, and every month you see which ones turned into booked work.

Your next customer looks in six places. A local marketing agency should cover all six.

When something breaks, leaks or needs doing by Friday, nobody flips through a directory. People grab their phone and call the first business that looks trustworthy and picks up. Here is where they look now.

  1. The map at the top of Google.

"Plumber near me" shows three businesses with stars and a Call button. Most people never scroll past those three.

  2. Google ads.

Above the map sit the ads. Some of those callers are ready to book; some are just shopping on price. Good ads know the difference.

  3. The regular search results.

"Fence company near me", "roof repair this week", "security guards for a construction site". You need a page for every service you sell and every town you work in.

  4. Your reviews.

A business with plenty of recent five-star reviews gets the call over one with a handful from years ago, even if the second one does better work.

  5. ChatGPT and Google's AI answers.

More people now just ask, "Who's a reliable roofer near me who can come this week?" The answer names a few businesses. You want to be one of them.

  6. Facebook and Instagram.

Neighbours ask for recommendations in local groups, and ads reach people before they need you.

  7. New call · 7:42 pm · from Google Maps · answered.

The last frame: a real notification from a client's phone.

What owners tell us on the first call

Most of this isn't your fault. It's how the sites that sell job requests, and a lot of agencies, are built to work.

  • “I paid for a lead, then raced four other businesses to the phone.”

That name was sold to everyone who paid for it. Calls from your own website, your own Google listing and your own ads go to you, and nobody else.

  • “They just want a price.”

Your pages can show honest price ranges, and your forms can ask for photos, budget and timing. The price shoppers sort themselves out before you drive across town.

  • “The phone rang while I was with a customer. By the time I called back, they’d booked someone else.”

A call you paid for that goes to voicemail is a gift to the next business. Every call gets answered or texted back right away, even after hours.

  • “I signed up for a year and couldn’t get out.”

We work month to month. If we stop earning it, you leave, and you take everything with you.

  • “The report was all impressions and clicks. Not one booked job.”

Our monthly report starts with calls, booked work and what each job cost you. That's the part you care about, so that's what comes first.

  • “The last agency owned my website and my ad account.”

Your website, Google listing, ad account, phone numbers and customer list are in your name from day one.

How we fix it: five things that make the phone ring with the right work

Five things we do for every client, and what they've done for a few of them.

  1. Be the business people find when they need you

The problem: word of mouth tops out, and businesses you've never heard of show up above you.

What we do: we put you on the map at the top of Google in every town you serve, build a page for every service you sell, and run ads that only go after the work you want.

What's involved: Google Maps and local SEO, SEO, Google Ads, Facebook and Instagram ads, showing up in ChatGPT and Google's AI answers, social media and video.

Proof: Ultimate Security, a Toronto guard company, shows up first on Google for “security guard services Toronto”.

  2. A website that books work and screens out the price shoppers

The problem: your site looks like everyone else's, so people treat you like everyone else and shop on price.

What we do: a fast website that sells the work you want: a page for each service, honest price ranges, real photos of your work, and a booking form that asks what you'd ask on the phone.

What's involved: website design, branding and logo design, and hosting, speed and security.

Proof: after we rebuilt Lloyd HVAC Services' website with a page for each service, the calls from Google search grew enough that they hired two more techs to keep up.

  3. Never miss a call you paid for

The problem: you're on a job or with a customer, and the call goes to voicemail. That caller doesn't leave a message. They call the next name.

What we do: our AI receptionist answers in your business name, day or night, and books the appointment or flags it as urgent. Missed calls get a text back right away. Website forms get a reply in minutes.

What's involved: AI receptionist, missed-call text-back, and one place for every call, text and form.

Proof: AW Mechanical Systems, a heating and cooling company in Brampton, stopped losing busy-hour calls to voicemail. See their result below

  4. Turn every finished job into a review and the next booking

The problem: happy customers mean to leave a review and never do, and your slow months stay slow.

What we do: after every job, your customer gets a friendly text asking for a review. Past customers hear from you before they need you again: seasonal reminders, early-booking offers, "it's been a year, time for a check-up". Every message names your business and has an easy way to opt out.

What's involved: review requests and email and text follow-up.

  5. Know if the money you spend is bringing in work

The problem: you pay for marketing every month and you're not sure it's paying you back.

What we do: every month you see what you got for your money: how many calls came in, how many turned into booked work, and what each one cost. Every ad has its own phone number, so you know which ones are worth keeping and which ones to cut.

What's involved: one place for every call, text and form, a phone number for every ad, and a plain monthly report.

Proof: Elie's Fencing Solutions, a fence and deck company in Ottawa, paid $59 for each call or quote request from its Google ads in 2024, and $25 in April 2026.

Results depend on your market, your budget and how fast you answer the phone.

Are we the right fit for your business?

We're not the cheapest option, and we're not for everyone. That's on purpose.

A good fit if you:

  • do good work and want more of the right customers, not just more phone calls
  • pick up the phone, or have someone who does, and call people back the same day
  • want to own your website, your Google listing and your ad account
  • will stay involved for the first 90 days: answering our questions, sending photos of your work, telling us which calls turned into jobs
  • can give it at least three months before you judge it

Probably not a fit if you:

  • can't answer the phone or call back the same day
  • want results without being involved for the first 90 days
  • are shopping for the cheapest invoice, or for names to buy by the dozen
  • can't invest for at least three months
  • want us to make claims your business can't back up

Not sure which side you're on?

What happens after you say yes

  1. Days 1 to 14

    Set-up, all in your name.

We open or take over your Google listing and ad account in your name, give every ad its own phone number, put every call, text and form in one place, and turn on missed-call text-back.

  2. Days 14 to 30

    The first calls.

Ads go live for the work you want most, and new pages go up. You can see which ad or search each call came from.

  3. Days 30 to 90

    Cut what doesn't book.

We drop the ads and searches that bring price shoppers, add pages for the work you want more of, and ask every finished customer for a review. Google Maps and search take longer than ads, but they keep paying off the longer they run. By day 90 you know what a booked job costs you.

Three rules we don't break

  1. We take no markup on your ad spend, and every ad gets its own phone number so you see what it brings in.
  2. You own everything: website, Google listing, ad account, phone numbers and customer list. Month to month; leave whenever you like.
  3. We count results in booked work, not clicks.

Straight answers

Our plans are $1,500, $3,000 or $5,000 a month, plus whatever you spend on ads. That ad money goes straight to Google or Meta from your own account, and we don't mark it up. Which plan makes sense depends on how many towns you cover and how many calls you can handle. See what each plan includes.

No long contract. We work month to month, so if we stop earning your business, you can leave at the end of any month.

You do. They're set up in your name from day one, along with your phone numbers and your customer list. If you leave, it all goes with you.

Never. The calls and forms we bring in come from your own website, your own Google listing and your own ads. Nobody else sees them, and we don't sell them to anyone.

Ads can start bringing calls within the first month. Google Maps and search take longer, think months rather than weeks, but they keep paying off the longer they run. Lloyd HVAC Services, a heating and cooling company in East York, went from about 8 inquiries a month from Google search to 45 within six months. How fast it goes for you depends on your market, your budget and how quickly you pick up the phone.

Yes. We'll help you get your website, Google listing and ad account into your name if they aren't already, and keep your phone numbers working through the switch. If your agency drags its feet, we'll tell you exactly what to ask them for.

Fair question. We don't pretend to know only one kind of business. What we do is build every page, every ad and every report around how your business actually makes money. For a heating company that's installs and service calls; for a fence builder it's quote requests and spring bookings. Ask us about your business on the call, and if we don't know it well enough, we'll tell you.

No. We're based in Toronto and work with businesses all over Canada and the US. Here are the cities we serve.
